Chhattisgarh Maoists enter Odisha: DGP K.B. Singh

Odisha’s Director General of Police K.B. Singh told reporters that Maoists from Chhattisgarh are now entering Odisha.

On last Saturday, Odisha Police with the Special Operations Group (SOG) killed three women Maoists at Aampani ghat in Kalahandi district, suspected to be from Chhattisgarh.

Special Director, Arun Kumar Sarangi said that among the listed Maoist cadres, 15 % were in Odisha, 55 % in Chhattisgarh, 15 % in Andhra Pradesh and the remaining 15 % in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
