Child sacrifice bid foiled in Balasore Dist

ONI Bureau: In a shocking incident, two persons allegedly attempted to sacrifice a minor girl child at Panchapadi village in Balasore district on Friday night, their bid was foiled by local youths.

However, the villagers handed over the accused persons to the Soro Police.

Surprisingly, the girl who was being taken for sacrifice is the niece of the prime accused Kailash Mallick who was reportedly suffering from mental illness for a long time and advised by a sorcerer to sacrifice a minor girl for his recovery.
