Chinese Delegation calls on Odisha CM, Industry Minister

Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: A delegation of Chinese businessmen called on Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday at Sate Secretariat here.

Later, the delegation met Odisha Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and discussed. Chinese delegation has shown their interest to invest in Odisha.

The delegation led by Consulate General (Kolkata) of People’s Republic of China M A Zhanwu met the minister and discussed about investment perspective in the state. They praised industrial policy adopted by the Odisha government. The delegation expressed their interest in investing in the state from February 2016 in various sectors including Tourism and petrochemicals.

After meeting with the delegation, the minister told media that the delegation of businessmen shown their interest to invest in the state. Talks with the delegation were successful and the Chinese businessmen would invest in the state from February 2016, he added.
