Chintan Shivir of Odisha Congress to be held in Jeypore

The second Chintan Shivir of Odisha Congress will be held in Jeypore in Koraput district on January 24, 2015. All Congress leaders from undivided Koraput district are expected to attend the brainstorming.

Former CM Giridhar Gamang, Jeypore MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati and former Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi will be the key participants at the meeting. Four other Congress MLAs from undivided Koraput district, Bhujbal Majhi (Dabugam), Kailash Chandra Kulesika (Laxmipur), Chandra Sekhar Majhi (Kotpad) and Krushna Chandra Sagaria (Koraput) will be present at the meeting too.

Although there is no official confirmation about the participation of senior Congress leaders, it is believed that PCC President Prasad Harichandan and some other leaders will attend the Chintan Shivir in Jeypore. The Odisha Congress held a two-day ‘Nava Chintan’ shivir in Bhubaneswar on January 7-8.
