‘Citizen 4 Forces Odisha’ meets 1971 War Veterans

The Citizen 4 Forces organized “Jashn-E-Fateh” (A tribute to 1971 indo-Pak war martyrs & living legends) at Select CITY Walk, Saket, New Delhi on December 16, 2014. C4F teams from 8 states joined in this event. Citizen 4 Forces Odisha State Convener Smrutiranjan Biswal along with five members attended this program to meet the real heroes of nation, living legends of 1971 war along with many other army veterans.

In this event Ankit Gupta, Founder of Citizen 4 Forces said, “youth mass should come forward to remember our forces”. War veterans shared their experience from battle field and thanked Citizen 4 Forces for organizing such type of unique events. Team Odisha members interacted personally with war veterans on a tea party.

The program was attended by the war veterans and eminent guests from defence sector including Lt Gen. J.F.R. Jacob (Key liberator of Bangladesh & former governor of Goa & Punjab), Living Param Vir chakra Awardee Subedar Yoginder Singh Yadav (Hero of 1999 Kargil War), General V K Singh (Former chief of Indian Army & Minister of state (Independent Charge), Maj Gen. Ian Cardazo (1971 Indo-Pak war veteran & First disabled officer to command a battalion & later a brigade), Maj Gen. Satbir Singh (Chairman of the indian Ex-servicemen movement), Col Anil Kaul (Veer Chakra awardee in IPKF operation in Sri Lanka in 1987& Defence Expert), Meenakshi Lekhi (National Spokesperson of BJP & MP of New Delhi), Maj Surendra Poonia (VSM awardee, former bodyguard of the President & first Indian Doctor to win 15 international Medals (Limca book record), Maroof Raza (Times Now Strategic Expert) and Former Miss India Earth Prachi Mishra and Former Miss India World Vanya Mishra.
