CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates Academic Block, Library & Hostel Building At RD Women’s University

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Monday, inaugurated an academic block, a library and a hostel building at RD Women’s University in Bhubaneswar. The infrastructure development along with the renovation will take place at a cost of Rs 18cr.

The Chief Minister also addressed the students of the RD Women’s University.

Addressing the students he said, “This is a unique institute in the sense that it’s the first and only university in Odisha till now, dedicated to women’s education. It carries the vision of Maa Ramadevi for the education and empowerment of women in Odisha. Therefore, its responsibility is also unique.  How you go ahead with your opportunities, and how you face the challenges that come in your way will define the future of this university.”
