Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated the new housing scheme – ‘Mission Abaas’ in Bhubaneswar today. The scheme is aimed at providing housing to urban poor. The scheme will ensure to provide low-cost, affordable houses to people having low income and coming from economically backward section.
Economically backward people with an annual income of below Rs 1.8 lakh (Or, Rs 15,000 per month) and others with an income of less than 3.60 lakh per annum, will be eligible to take benefits of this scheme.
Construction of houses under this scheme would be initiated at Phulanakhara, Pandara, Ghatikia and Chandrasekharpur.
