Cold wave grips Odisha; Kandhamal shivers at 7 degree Celsius

ONI Bureau:   Cold wave conditions intensified in Odisha with Phulbani recorded the lowest temperature of 7 degree Celsius followed by Baliguda, Daringbadi, Raikia and G Udaygiri below 9 degree Celsius, the lowest this season.

Similarly, 14 places across the state recording minimum temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius today.

According to the Met office, the temperature will most likely fall further by the next week.

While normal life was disrupted as people could not come out of home due to intense chilly weather, the homeless people are the worst sufferers in the state.
