Commissionerate Police issues Traffic Advisory for Republic Day Parade

ONI Bureau:  The State level Republic Day parade will be organized on 26th January at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar.

To avoid any untoward situation the Commissionerate Police issued traffic advisory on Thursday for the city as preparations for the State-level Republic Day parade are in full swing amid tight security.

As per sources, no heavy vehicles will be allowed to ply towards Master Canteen either from Raj Mahal or Ram Mandir side from 6:30 AM till the parade over on January 26.

However, two wheelers and light motor vehicles will be allowed from these sides up to Master Canteen but will not be allowed towards PMG Square.

No vehicle will be allowed to come towards Rabindra Mandap crossing from Housing Board crossing side from 6.30 A.M onwards.

Similarly, no vehicles will be allowed to move towards PMG Square from AG Square and the traffic will be diverted from Jaydev Bhawan towards IDCOL auditorium.

Vehicles coming from 120 Infantry side will be diverted towards Unit 4 at MLA colony crossing and all the lanes connecting Mahatma Gandhi Marg where the Republic Day parade will be held will be sealed.
