Commissionerate Police reviews Security Plan for Barabati T20

Barabati-StadiumThe Commissionerate Police held a press conference in Bhubaneswar today following the final preparatory meeting for Barabati T20 match to be held on October 5 between India and South Africa.

In total, 25 platoon of police forces and 100 officers will be deployed in Bhubaneswar during that period. Both India and South Africa teams will arrive in Bhubaneswar on October 3 and stay at a Star Hotel. They will hold net practice on October 4.

150 CCTV cameras will be installed at Barabati Stadium during the match. 65 platoons of police force and 150 officers along with anti-terror squad and SOG commandos will guard Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

The OCA is selling nearly 7000 tickets online starting from September 16 to 29. Around 20,000 tickets will be sold directly at publich counters from October 1, 2015.

At the preparatory meeting, Police Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sharma and Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary Ashirbad Behera were present along with top police officials and OCA authorities.
