Complaints filed against 3 Young MPs for insulting National Flag at SAARC YPC

A complaint was filed on Thursday by the Human Rights activist Subash Mohapatra against three Members of Parliament (MPs) for insulting the National Flag while they took part in the SAARC Young Parliamentarians Conference in Pakistan on August 16-18.

The complaint was filed against the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo, Devji Mansingh Patel, BJP MP from Rajasthan and Alok Tiwari, Samajwadi Party MP from Uttar Pradesh for insulting the Indian National Flag in Pakistan.

The Indian tricolour was hoisted with the green strip at the top and saffron at the bottom but the MPs remained silent and spoke on the occasion.
