Congress, BJP Workers from Kendrapara join BJD

ONI Bureau: Hundreds of BJP and Congress workers from Kendrapara have joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today in the presence of party President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar.

At the special ‘Mishran Samavesh’ organised at Naveen Niwas, CM Naveen Patnaik welcomed the new joinees from Kendrapara and expressed confidence that their entry would strengthen the party.

The workers who joined BJD today, included District Bar Association President and former BJP Councillor Devdas Mohanty, Councillors Prakash Parida and Liakat Ali and former Councillors Rashmi Ranjan Das, Basanti Mantri etc. Aam Aadmi Party’s Distict Coordinator Abdul Mallick also joined the party.
