Congress MLA Krushna Chandra Sagaria resigns from Odisha Assembly

ONI Bureau:  Upset over denial of justice to Kunduli gang rape victim, Congress MLA from Koraput Krushna Chandra Sagaria today resigned from member of Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Earlier, he resigned from the new post of PCC general secretary. However, he said that he will remain in the party.

Speaking to media persons today Sagaria said that after being the PCC SC Cell president, he have protested for rights of SC and Dalits. But if he is not able to give justice to a poor dalit girl, he has no moral rights of holding the position anymore, Sagaria stated.

Sagaria as a Congress candidate elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Koraput Vidhan Sabha constituency on 2014.
