ONI Bureau: While the BJP has decided to go aggressive, sounding the poll bugle in Odisha after the assembly polls in 5 States, with PM Modi visiting the State on December 24, Congress President Rahul Gandhi will the party’s charge by addressing a few meetings in the last week of December.
According to PCC President Niranjan Patnaik, Rahul Gandhi will address a few meetings in Coastal, Western and South Odisha in the last week of December. However, dates have not been finalized yet. The Office of Rahul Gandhi confirm the schedule only after December 7, he added.
As the Congress expects better results in the assembly polls in 5 States, they are planning to take advantage of the situation and do their groundwork properly for the forthcoming assembly polls in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh as well as the general elections that would be held simultaneously.
