Congress working to change lifestyle of Poor, says Rahul Gandhi

Bhubaneswar, Sep 11: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, before winding up his two-day Odisha visit, attended the Social Justice Workshop in Bhubaneswar. He slammed the Narendra Modi Government at the centre on various issues and spoke about the Congress vision.

“Corruption is rampant across India over land issue. But, the Modi Government has made things difficult and complex instead of addressing it properly. Congress will continue to fight for the rights of the farmers and will never allow the Land Acquisition Bill to succeed”, he said.

Rahul also said that Congress is working hard to change the lifestyle of poor. “We are fighting to ensure welfare and security of poor and downtrodden. Development should be done to ensure proper living and better future for the poor. Or else, it will be of no use,” he added.

Rahul met scheduled tribe, schedule caste, tribal representatives, women and other weaker section of the people during his visit.
