Coronavirus is Odisha cross the 1100 mark

The Odisha State Health and Family Welfare Department stated that the state had crossed the 1,100 marks of COVID-19 cases as 74 more people tested positive on 20th May. Of the 74 new COVID-19 cases, 72 are in quarantine centres. The new cases were reported from Boud district (28), Puri (11), Cuttack (9), Khura (7), Ganjam (6), Jajpur (6), Kendrapara (2), Malkangiri (2) Balasore (1), Dhenkanal (1) and Kandhamal (1). Like earlier, Ganjam district continues to be the major hot-spot in the state.

The total cumulative samples that were tested positive in the state so far stand at 1103. The total number of samples tested in the state so far is 108432. The number of active cases 703, with 07 deceased patients. The total number of people recovered in the state is 393.
