‘Costume Loving Lord Jagannath’ Book released in New Delhi

By Odisha News Insight Bureau: A pathbreaking book entitled ‘Costume Loving Lord Jagannath’ (Besa Priya Shri Jagannath) was released by Deputy Speaker of Goa Assembly Shri Vishnu Wagh in the presence of Senior Journalist Shri Kishore Dwibedi and Social Leader Sanjiv Naik on Saturday at Goa Sadan, New Delhi.

Shri Wagh hailed the Jagannath culture, saying it has drawn the global attention due to its religious as well as cultural importance.

The book is written by Dr. Dinabandhu Moharana, founder president of ‘Bhakta kabi Jayadev sanakrutika Parishan’. His contribution to health literature and Jagannath culture, is well known.

Apart from Shri Kishore Dwibedi and Shri Sanjiv Nayak, other dignitaries such as Smt. Aruna Wagh, Dr. Divyajyoti Moharana, Dr. Minati Moharana and Smt. Reeta Patra discussed the Jagannath culture and costume.
