COVID-19 Infections Likely To Touch 10,000 Per Day in Odisha Next Month

The COVID-19 infections in Odisha are likely to touch 10,000 cases per day. Dr. Jayant Panda, Technical Spokesperson for COVID-19 management in the state informed.

“As per the prediction, Odisha will peak in the first week of May and the country will peak in May third week. The numbers will gradually increase. It is likely that the numbers may touch 7000, 8000 or even 10,000 in May first week,” Dr Panda was reported saying by media.

The spokesperson has however assured that state has no reason to panic as the infrastructure is proper to deal with the situation.
