Crocodile Population at Bhitarkanika Sanctuary goes up

ONI Bureau: As per the latest information based on the count, crocodile population at Bhitarkanika Sanctuary has goes up by 16 this year. In total, 1,698 crocodiles have been detected as compared to 1,682 last year.

The Bhitarkanika Sanctuary has also witnessed congregation of more birds this year. As compared 76,268 birds of 81 species in 2017, 1,12,935 birds of 83 species arrived this year.
