Cuttack under Shutdown Till July 8 due to COVID-19
Given the rising COVID-19 cases, a total shutdown has been ordered in Cuttack city. As per a notification issued by Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), the closure will prevail in drive till July 8 midnight.
Senior CMC Administrators notified that all the non-essential stores would remain closed and non-essential tour will be prohibited altogether. The order will come to effect from today
However, all the essential shops like grocery, vegetable and milk shops will remain open from 5 AM to 6 PM. The essential shops will have to rigorously abide by the COVID-19 guidelines and obey social distancing norms.
