Cyclone Titli: Odisha Govt asks Collectors to pay ex-gratia within 3 days

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Government on Monday directed the district collectors to provide ex-gratia to the next of kin of the deceased within 3 days who lost their lives in cyclone Titli.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik earlier announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the severe cyclonic storm.

In a letter to the bureaucrats, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Bishnupada Sethi has directed to disburse the amount following due procedure. SRC also asked the Revenue Inspectors and Tehsildars to expedite the process.
