Cyclone Yaas: Over 2lakh people Evacuated From Coastal Odisha
Over 2lakh people have been evacuated from coastal Odisha as Cyclone Yaas is expected to make a landfall on May 26.
As per SRC data,
- 74,132 people have been shifted in Balasore district
- 73,103 from Bhadrak
- 41,685 from Kendrapara
The administration has also carried out evacuation from Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Mayurbhanj districts.
Cyclone Yaas is expected to make a landfall close to Dhamra in Bhadrak district tomorrow morning.
