Dana Majhi Case: PMO seeks report from Odisha Government

In a significant development, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) led by PM Modi has sought a detailed report from the Odisha Government on the issue of poor tribal Dana Majhi carrying his wife’s dead body on shoulder, which triggered a massive global outrage and brought shame to the country.

The PMO has reportedly written a letter to Odisha CM seeking details of the incident and steps taken to prevent such episodes again.

BJD Spokesperson Pratap Deb has confirmed the news and said that the letter was received yesterday.
