Daringbadi Tribal Museum soon to open for Public

The hill town of Daringbadi in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, also known as “Kashmir of Odisha” for the snow fall during the winter, is going to get another addition to its list of tourist destinations with a new Tribal museum.

The Tribal museum in Daringbadi, which is built on 1100 sq ft area at a cost of Rs 30 lakh, will be opened for public at the end of August, said an ITDA release.

The museum will exhibit tribal dresses, ornaments, instrumental music and other  traditional elements of the Kandha , Kutia Kandha and other tribal communities.
