Death toll in Chilika Boat Capsize rises to 5, rescue operations on

ONI Bureau: Five persons including two women, a minor boy and a minor girl  died when a boat capsized in the Chilika lake on Saturday evening.

The mishap occurred when the boat carrying 17 tourists from Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh district including the boatman were returning from Kalijai to Balugaon last evening.

Though local fishermen managed to rescue ten tourists and fished out the bodies, search operation is on to trace the body one child who is still missing.
