Debt-Ridden Farmer commits suicide in Bolangir Dist

ONI Bureau:  The spate of farmer suicides continues in Odisha as one more farmers committed suicide in Bolangir district today.

The deceased, identified as Bhagat Sagaria of Kuliadora village consumed pesticide on Thursday over alleged crop loss and debt, and was undergoing treatment at the Bolangir district headquarters hospital.

Reportedly, he succumbed while being shifted to Burla hospital after his condition worsened on Fiday morning.
