Debt-ridden Farmer commits suicide in Odisha’s Bolangir Dist

ONI Bureau:  Farmer suicide continues unabated in Odisha as yet another farmer of of Kamemunda village under Turekela block in Bolangir district ended his life on Monday allegedly due to loan burden.

The deceased, identified as Sarat Majhi committed suicide by consuming pesticide as he failed to repay loan that he had taken from a private money lenders.

Majhi was rushed to Kantabanji hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
