Decomposed Carcass Of Elephant Found In Kalahandi

The forest department personnel of Tunduri forest range in Kalahandi district has recovered a highly decomposed carcass of an elephant
As per reports from the officials, the jumbo might have died few days ago but the carcass couldn’t be spotted immediately as the locals had no access to the forest. In some days after the incident, the decomposed carcass was recovered by forest department personnel while strolling.

Though the exact reason behind the jumbo’s death is not known, the forest department officials have sent the carcass for post mortem to ascertain whether the jumbo died naturally or was killed by poachers.
