Deep Depression formed; heavy rainfall likely in 10 Districts

ONI Bureau: With the depression turned into a deep depression over South west Bay of Bengal, will trigger heavy to very heavy rain in 10 districts of Odisha including Koraput, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam and Gajapati on December 9 and 10, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed.

As per a release issued by the Regional Met Department, rainfall likely to lash over various areas across the State till December 11. However, rainfall will continue in some parts of the state till December 13.

Fishermen along Odisha and West Bengal coasts and off north Andhra Pradesh, have been advised not to venture into sea during next 36 hours.
