Dengue scare grips Kalahandi villages, 82 tested positive

ONI Bureau:  Dengue cases are on the rise in Ladugaon village and its neighbouring villages under Kokasara tehsil of Kalahandi district.

Out of 500 blood samples, as many as 82 have tested positive for the vector-borne disease, informed Kalahandi Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO), Dr Saroj Tihadi on Friday.

A massive sanitation and awareness drive has been undertaken. The officials are visiting door-to-door to aware people about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.
