Dengue toll rises to 3 in Odisha, 1,186 tested positive: Health Minister

ONI Bureau:  As many as 1,186 dengue cases have been confirmed, 3 have succumbed to dengue so far in Odisha this year, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena on Monday.

While talking to media persons Jena said, five medical camps have been set up at most affected villages of Kalahandi district. However, all 30 district headquarters hospitals across the State have been asked to remain alert.

It is to be noted that the first and second case of death due to the mosquito borne disease had been reported at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar and at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack in the month of June .
