Dharmendra Pradhan felicitates Nila Madhab Panda & Haldhar Nag

Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan felicitated the Padma Awardees from Odisha – filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda and poet Haldhar Nag. Both received Padma Shri from President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

Eminent personalities from various walks of life- Hon’ble MPs, bureaucrats, students, doctors, and lawyers from Odisha, living in Delhi attended the function.

Former bureaucrat Lalit Mansingh and Siddhant Mahapatra, Hon’ble MP felicitated the awardees.

Lalitendu Mansingh, former Ambassador to the United States, Satyananda Mishra, Ex-CIC, Prof. Arun Mohanty, Professor, JNU, Pranab Dhal Samanta, Political Editor, Economic Times and Bhatruhari Mahtab, Hon’ble MP spoke on the occasion.

While congratulating the recipients for their outstanding contribution to the cultural repository of Odisha, they complimented Shri Dharmendra Pradhan for taking the initiative in ensuring such a congregation. The awardees shared their experiences, struggles and achievements.
