Dharmendra targets Third Floor; Pratap Deb hits back

ONI Bureau: While welcoming former Satyabadi MLA Rama Ranjan Baliarsingh, veteran Actor Mihir Das and Actress Anu Choudhury into BJP, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lashed out at the CMO’s office at the 3rd Floor, saying things are now going out of control.

“Why the CM is so sensitive to criticism against his Private Secretary, who does not understand the sentiments of Odia people? Why he comes to media to give protection to such officer against his own party leaders”, asks Dharmendra.

“Dr. Damodar Rout was sacked as he dared to take on the Third Floor officer. He was fired as he raised questions on the soil scam, which is linked to the Third Floor,” alleged Dharmendra.

He also launched a scathing attack on CM Naveen Patnaik over his statement that “some people target his office when they have no other issue”, saying “Respected CM, you are the Chief Minister of Odisha, not of any political party. The Chief Minister’s Office on 3rd floor of Secretariat is not any party’s property. It is the centre of hopes and aspiration of 4.5 crore Odias”.

Meanwhile, BJD MP and Spokesperson Pratap Deb hit back at Dharmendra Pradhan, saying he is belittling himself with such ‘cheap statements’. Pratap Deb drew attention to the fact that even at the Centre, officers work under the PMO and same happens with BJP-ruled CMOs too. What’s new in it, he asked.
