Dharmendra writes to Odisha CM over land allotment for proposed LPG Bottling Plant in Khurda

ONI Bureau:  Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wrote a letter to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik requesting him to provide land for proposed LPG bottling plant of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) at Samantpur village in Khurda district. The project is estimated at Rs 150 crore.

In a letter to the Chief Minister, the Union Minister urged to allot required land for the projects which was already approved by the State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) in 2016.

Earlier the Shree Jagannath Temple Trust had offered 32 acre of land for a new bottling plant at Samantpur village. In this regard amount of Rs. 28.8 crore have been deposited by IOCL to the Trust authorities on 30th March 2017.

Therefore the State head of IOCL has also requested to the Govenment of Odisha to approve the proposal for entering into sale deed at the earliest.
