Divine Residental College in Nayagarh rusticates 3 Students on Ragging charges

As directed by the Higher Education department, the Divine Residential College has rusticated three students in Nayagarh for brutally ragging their junior roommate, a Plus Two student.

Police have detained three students and started investigation after a complaint was filed by the father of the victim in Nayagarh Town Police Station.

The three accused students  are supposed to send to Juvenile Home in Angul.

The three students were studying in plus II science who tortured their roommate physically and mentally every day. They used to thrash and kick him, make him do sit-ups, scratch his thighs with hard combs, bite body parts, punch his face and attack him with glass bottles.

The victim is now undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital who has injury marks all over his body.
