Dr. Achyuta Samanta Announces ‘Kanya Kiran’ As A Global Programme From Next Year

‘Kanya Kiran’, an initiative by founder of KIIT & KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta to stop violence against women and girl child will be conducted at a global scale from next year to create awareness across the globe.

This came out as an announcement at the flag-off ceremony for the program’s coordinators, volunteers and participants here on Sunday.

At the ceremony, Dr. Samanta stated in his speech that there is no place for violence against women and girl child in a developed and cultured society while seeking support from the public to raise awareness and ensure zero incidences of violence.

The third edition of Kanya Kiran will commence from 10th to 12th June.
