Drought Issue: Odisha BJP to gherao Revenue Inspector Offices

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22: The BJP’s Odisha unit has decided to grill the state government over the drought issue. The party workers will gherao Revenue Inspector (RI) officers at in every block on September 23.

The BJP leaders have alleged that the Odisha government was not taking any measures to tack the drought situation in the state. They also alleged the state government of failure in stopping migration of laboureres from drought hit areas to other states in search for work.

After the protest at the concerned block offices across the state, the BJP party officials would submit a memorandum to the Governor. Earlier, over the issue of death of infants at Sishu Bhawan in Cuttck, the party official demonstrated at every block across the state.
