DVF Jawan martyred in landmine blast in Rayagada Dist

ONI Bureau: Odisha District Voluntary Force (DVF) jawan was killed in a landmine explosion triggered by Maoists near Sakata village under Muniguda police limits in Rayagada district late last night.

As per the report the landmine explosion took place when a team of DVF was returning after combing operation in the Niyamgiri hills. The 22-year-old Sanjay Majhi sustained grievous injuries and succumbed on the way to hospital.

The mortal remains will be accorded guard of honour and will be taken to his native village for last rites.
