ECI Announces Dates for Balasore & Tirtol Assembly By-elections

The Election Commisiion of India has announced the date for by-elections in Balasore and Tirtol. The by-elections in the two constituencies of Odisha will be held on November 3.

The Balasore Assembly seat fell vacant after the demise of its MLA Madan Mohan Dutta on June 17. Dutta represented the BJP. The Tirtol seat fell vacant after the death of BJD MLA Bishnu Das on July 7.
