Egg hurled at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in Mayurbhanj Dist

Some Congress workers on Wednesday allegedly hurled eggs and shown black flags to the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his one day visit to Mayurbhanj district.

The incident occurred at a public event in Suliapada when he was visiting the region to inaugurate some  government projects. The officials said that the egg did not hit the Chief Minister. The police have arrested one person in this connection.

Earlier, Police had detained several BJP workers including district President Krushna Chandra Mohapatra and congress activists in the wake of Chief Minister’s visit.

Apart from that single incident, Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated various developmental projects in Mayurbhanj district without any trouble.
