Elections in Hindol, Atabira and Nuapada NACs on April 3

ONI Bureau:  Election to three Notified Area Councils (NAC) – Atabira (Bargarh), Hindol (Dhenkanal) and Nuapada would be held on April 3 while the results would be announced on April 5.

With announcement of the schedule, the model code of conduct came into force in three NACs from today.

Speaking about the NAC Polls, the State Election Commissioner Naba Kumar Naik told to media persons that filing of nomination papers would be held from March 13 to 17 while the scrutiny of nominations is on March 19 and that for withdrawal is March 22.

Similarly, the final list of contesting candidates would be published on March 22.
