Eminent Freedom Fighter Dolagobinda Pradhan passes away at 93

ONI Bureau:  Eminent freedom fighter and former Odisha Minister Dolagobinda Pradhan breathed his last at his Bhubaneswar residence late night. He was 93.

Born on June 7, 1929, Pradhan had joined the Quit India Movement in 1942 and got imprisoned for over 3 years. He was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Cuttack Sadar constituency twice between 1980 and 1990.

He also served as the Urban Development Minister of the state from 1989 to 1990.

Many eminent personalities, freedom fighters and politicians including Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Dhamendra Pradhan condoled the death of the freedom fighter.
