Fake currency note racket busted in Berhampur; 5 held

ONI Bureau: The Twin City Commissionerate Police of Odisha busted a fake currency note printing unit operating at Nuapada Bazaar Sahi in Berhampur on Monday.

Police apprehended five persons while exchanging fake notes near Tomando in Bhubaneswar. During interrogation they revealed about the fake note printing factory in Berhampur.

Police has also seized fake notes worth Rs 4.65 lakh including 1 colour printer, 22 Xerox cartridges, 9 rubber stamps, 32 nail polish, 22 paper cutters, 5 mobile phones, 1 steel scale from their possession.
