Fake currency racket busted in Baripada; kingpin arrested

ONI Bureau:  Baripada Police on Friday busted a fake currency racket and seized 100 counterfeit Rs 2,000 currency notes.

Police arrested the mastermind behind the fake currency note racket, identified as Sheikh Samiluddin, hailing from Balasore.

Reportedly on Wednesday two students were circulating fake Rs 2,000 notes in the market when the shopkeeper caught them and informed the Rasgovindpur Police.

The name of prime accused came to fore during questioning the students.
