Father Beaten To Death By Son

A family dispute has led to the death of a father at the hands of a son at Teljor village in Sundergarh district last night.

The deceased person has been identified as Manisidi Bala.

According to sources, discussion over a trivial matter developed into a heated argument which triggered the son to lose his temper and attack his father with a wooden plank. As a result, a death on spot occurred.

Post-incident, the son fled from the spot and is still absconding. Soon, police rushed to the scene and sent the body for postmortem while initiating a probe into the matter. Police are on a hunt for the accused.
