FIR filed against Balasore CDMO under PNDT Act

An FIR has been filed against Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Balasore, Dr. Anup Kumar Ghose under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) Act. The FIR was filed by Balasore ADMO.

It can be recalled that an ultrasound machine was seized from Dr. Ghose’s clinic on November 28. The FIR alleged foul play by Dr. Ghose and levelled serious allegations of sex determination against him.
