Fire at 2 Empty Coaches of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express

At least two empty coaches of Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express and four coaches of Sealdah Rajdhani Express caught fire at the Washing Pit at New Delhi Railway Station today. Since all coaches were empty, no casualties were reported.

At least 16 fire tenders have rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire was the result of a cut in diesel pipe. The fire is under control now.

Both these trains were parked at the washing area when the fire broke out. A probe has been ordered into the incident.
