Fire breaks out at Ananta Basudev Temple in Bhubaneswar; 22 rooms gutted

ONI BureauIn a major fire mishap, at least 22 rooms of Rosa Ghara (kitchen) at Ananta Basudev Temple at Old Town in the Capital City were gutted in the wee hours of Friday.

Reportedly, the fire engulfed the entire area as the kitchen rooms were thatched with paddy straw. By the time the firemen reached the spot, almost everything had been burnt down.

The fire mishap is likely to affect the ‘Mahaprasad’ sale and distribution.
