Five Parties Protest in front of Raj Bhavan

Five political parties have staged dharna in front of Raj Bhavan today over the black money and re-conversion issues.

The party activists belong to SP, JDS, JDU, RJD and SJP have protested against NDA government’s policy on black money, re-conversion, farmers’ suicide, price rise and unemployment.

The submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Odisha in the matter at Raj Bhavan, in which they apprise the Governor about the activities of the communal forces that, could harm the peace and tranquility in the country.

In the memorandum, they also appealed the Governor to direct the state government to maintain law and order to protect communal harmony and social tolerance.

The party leaders alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to bring back the black money stashed in foreign banks within 100 days as made promises during elections.
