FM Pradip Amat to present Annual Budget today

The State Government is going to present the Annual Budget for 2017-18 financial year today at the State Assembly.

Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat is likely to present the budget worth nearly Rs 1.6 lakh crore, which is an increase of nearly 12,000 crore from the last financial year.

During the question hour today, Amat said Rs 7446.73 crores was pending on various companies while Rs 60 crores of excise revenue is yet to paid.

Reportedly, Odisha Assembly adjourned till 3 pm over Prime Minister NarendraModi’s statement on Odisha’s poverty.
